What is the Recognition and Accreditation of CWM® Certification?
Chartered Wealth Management® Designation is widely accredited Globally by different prestigious Government Bodies and Global Accreditation Organizations.
In India Chartered Wealth Manager® is accredited by National Institute of Securities Market (NISM) under the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) Investment Advisor Regulations 2013 under Clause 7 (2).
What does Accreditation by NISM under SEBI Investment Advisor Regulations mean?
The Securities and Exchange Board of India has promulgated the Investment Advisor Regulations 2013 under which any person or corporate giving “Investment Advise” for consideration needs to register themselves with SEBI.
SEBI has also mandated some minimum educational requirements to be fulfilled by these entities. These individuals and members of the corporate entity need to be certified by:
National Institute of Securities Market which requires that the applicant to clear 2 Exams Investment Advisor Certification Exam 1 (IACE1) and Investment Advisor Certification Exam 2 (IACE 2)
OR
Any Certification by any organization accredited by NISM under these Regulations
The Chartered Wealth Manager® is accredited by NISM under this provision this means that any CWM® Charter Holder need not clear IACE 1 or IACE 2 examination and can directly apply for registration to SEBI based on the CWM® Charter.
This accreditation is the testimonial to the Holistic Curriculum and Reverence of the CWM® Certification by Regulatory Bodies across the Globe.
