What the Global Board does
The AAFM Global Board of Standards is the international council that owns the certification framework: it sets the body of knowledge, approves the examinations, admits accredited education providers and confers the designations. Its members and honorary advisors are professors, attorneys, economists and senior practitioners from universities, banks and regulators worldwide.
Independent governance is what makes a designation credible. Because standards are set and reviewed by this multinational board rather than by any single school or employer, an AAFM charter carries the same meaning across 151+ countries.
